• Every Stitch Tells a Story of Time. Weeks, Not Hours.

In a world of fast fashion, we choose the opposite. Our artisans work tirelessly, one needle at a time, to embroider intricate floral and animal motifs onto premium leather. The process is meticulous — each thread must be tensioned perfectly, each color layered with precision. It is a dance between human skill and centuries-old wisdom.

  • The Shell That Became Wood: Mother-of-Pearl Inlay, Hand-Embedded.

Before the first shell fragment is placed, the wood surface must be meticulously prepared — sanded, polished, and carved with recesses that match each piece of mother-of-pearl like a lock and key. Our artisans hand-cut every shell sliver, some no thicker than paper, then gently tap them into the solid wood base.

This technique, known as Luodian, dates back over 2,000 years. The shell is not glued on top; it is embedded into the wood itself. When light hits the surface, the iridescence of the shell seems to float across the grain — a marriage between the organic warmth of timber and the oceanic shimmer of nacre.

  • The Invisible Art: Splitting a Single Silk Thread into 32 Strands.

Before a single stitch is made, the silk thread must be prepared — by hand. Our masters practice the ancient technique of "thread splitting," where one raw silk filament is carefully divided into 16, 24, or even 32 ultra-fine strands, each thinner than a human hair. This allows for impossibly delicate gradients, shading, and lifelike embroidery.

One thread, 32 strands. Each strand carries the same strength and luster, yet is fine enough to pass through the eye of a specialized needle. This painstaking process can take hours before the needle even touches the fabric. It is the foundation upon which all our embroidery stands.
